Reading Week

I know, I know! I am a blogging slacker! I never did get around to posting pictures from Christmas or even writing about it! But I do have a good excuse. So I was waiting to do a post on Christmas till I got pictures from my daddy. Dad was kind of the unofficial photographer of the vacation so I didn't take many pics with my camera. So I decided to just wait till I went to Victoria so I could burn a disk instead of my parents sending them to me. I went to Victoria burned all of the photos onto a disk got back home and there was nothing on the cd. I give up! The Christmas post was just not supposed to happen! If you are incredibly curious and have to know exactly what happened on my vacation ask me about it or check out my siblings or parents blogs.

Alright on to reading week. What an adventure! I ended up being really sick the entire week AND there was a crazy snow storm the second day I was there... so I never really got to enjoy the beautiful Victoria weather I hear all about. But I was sick so its not like I would have really got a chance anyways. Bryson and I were not about to let a snow storm and illness dampen our spirits though. Bryson hadn't seen real snow since last winter so we decided to go sledding with his friends from school. They ended up taking FOREVER to meet up with us so we played at the park and took pictures while we waited.

Bryson got a little cold...so he decided to hide in the snow. One winter away and he is already a wimp. :)

When the storm finally passed and I was feeling a little better near the end of the week we decided to go on a hike. I can't remember the name of the mountain but it had a beautiful view of all of Victoria as well as Vancouver and Washington.

What a stud...

What does dad do when he finds a random piece of garbage on the way back? He tries to go sledding...naturally! Haha.

All in all I had a fantastic time! I love spending time with my family and loved the much needed break! It was wonderful to eat real food again and just relax! Can't wait to spend more time with you guys in the summer!
