Goodbye Hawaii

Its been almost two months since school ended in Hawaii and since then I have been up to quite a bit.
As my last little adventure on Oahu me and my new roomies went on a hike to Maunawili Falls. Its a beautiful hike, but very muddy. So we decided to do it barefoot, yeah I know great idea! As we were walking back from the falls it began to rain like crazy, so we were slipping all over the place. Lets just say that I was completely covered in mud by the time we got out of there.

As school ended I packed my bags and headed to Maui with my roommate Lacey to meet up with Bryson and my parents. We had many adventures all over the island including deep sea fishing. After getting over a spell of sea sickness I was able to catch the fish of the day, an Ono. I think if it would have been any bigger I might have been pulled in. It was quite the battle but in the end we got to take home a ridiculous amount of fish and mom made use a delicious meal.

After a week of fun Lacey, Bryson and Dad went home leaving Mom and I to welcome Alicia. We had tons of fun in the little time we had together and mom even treated us to mani/pedis and hair cuts!

The two weeks in Maui were very relaxing, but it was time to come back home to real life. We were home for about a day when we decided to drive down to Brandon and Tamsin's graduation from BYU! Even though the ceremonies were rediculously long (especially Brandon's...), it was great to be there with both of them on their special day! Plus we also got to spend a couple of days with Cindy and her boys! (P.S. Cindy I will send you all of the photos from Utah when Mom stops going to Victoria and I can get to her computer, sorry it has taken so long)

So now I am just working aka saving up for school, watching Lord of the Rings with Bryson aka babysitting while Mom and Dad are in Victoria (I think we have watched each movie about 2 times already), and mourning the loss of great television. Not only are most of the shows over till the fall but Lost and 24 are over forever. How will we go on? I guess I will just have to make it through by watching mediocre summer television...maybe even the bachelorette.

Oh and last but not least...I bought my first car!!! How exciting is that! (Of course Mom and Dad helped out a bit so we could pay for it all up front...but I fully intened on paying them back)

I have yet to name him/her, but seriously isn't it cute!

It reminds me of a combination of Sally and Luigi from Cars. You could name it Luigally...
