The last couple of weeks have been a blast and they totally make up for the boringness of first semester! Cindy is finally here while Scott is in Atlanta for rotations and I even got to visit Brandon and Tamsin during spring break! It has been great being able to visit so much family this semester! For spring break I went up to Utah and had a blast. We went skiing, Tamsin took me to a play, we got to play with an adorable puppy all weekend, we got to go to supper and celebrate Brandon's birthday, but the best part of the week was being with good company! :) Thanks again guys for inviting me to your home and for letting me use your southwest credit! I miss you guys already!
The last couple of weekends I have been heading out to Scottsdale to hang out with Cindy, Landon, Parker, Kit and Len. Kit and Len have been very kind letting me crash at their place, I appreciate it very much! It has been great because since Cindy is only here for a little while she has been really wanting to experience the city. I have done so many things that I have wanted to do, but haven't been able to. We have gone to the Zoo, discovered some Canadian restaurants in the area, gone to the library, hung out with Scott's sisters family, Kit, Len and Whitney have been kind enough to babysit every once in a while so that Cindy and I can have some real sister bonding time. The other day we were able to go to the temple to do baptisms for the dead at the Mesa Temple. It was wonderful, I have never been able to go into the temple with Cindy! It was a fantastic experience.
I haven't taken any pictures this month so you guys will have to check out Cindy and Brandon's blogs to see them. If Brandon ever puts up the pictures that is! :)
The only sour part of this month has been that I lost my phone. Okay it was only for a couple of days but I was still freaking out! When I went out to see Cindy this past weekend I forgot my phone charger and it died the first night that I was there. So I just turned it off and chucked it on the floor (big mistake). Late Sunday night I realized that I should probably charge my phone, but I went through my bags it was no where to be found. I called Cindy (sorry again for waking you up by the way) and for the next couple of days she tore apart the house and her car looking for it. Last night I realized that I was not going to find it without a little help. This experience has just reminded me that prayers are answered! I got a call from Cindy this morning. When she woke up my phone was lying in the middle of the floor and neither of us have any idea how it got there. Thank you Mom and Dad for raising us in this gospel, it is such a blessing in my life. I don't know what I would do without it! I hope everyone is doing well and I can't wait to see the remainder of my family this summer! Have a good day! :)
