We have begun the process of moving. Scott and I were stuck in a year contract in the place we were living in North Lethbridge. We found a couple that were despereate to find a place for the beginning of March. So we decided what the heck, let's move out early and save some money on rent. We packed everything thing up within a couple of days and moved out last Monday. It was pretty hectic but Scotts family came and helped us move everything. I am actual glad we got everything packed up and stored that we are not taking so I don't have to stress about it while we are getting everything else ready. So for now we are living at Scotts brother's house while he is working out of town for a couple weeks. After that we are going to stay with Scott's parents. We are so thankful to have family so nearby who are so willing to help. We appreciate it so much!

Preparing for Hawaii
Scott and I are so excited to move to Hawaii!!! Today at work I was googling all of the places that I loved when I lived there. I am so excited to show Scott around! I really enjoyed Hawaii when I was there for school the first time... but there is just something so much more exciting about enjoying it together. After all of the housing confusion we finally found a place to live. It is off campus but the bonus is that we are literally right on the beach! We are hoping to get into on campus married housing right away but in the mean time I think we will enjoy our place. :)
Scott and I have so much to do!!! Move the piano (which still resides at my old house), sell both of our cars, find someone to take over our housing contract and Scott's cell phone contract, and still move and store EVERYTHING we own. Fun right? We have plenty of time to do everything, it just seems like a lot when you think about it all at once. It will absolutely be worth it though. We are moving to flippin' HAWAII! It is sad to think how far away we will be from our families, but I am just so thankful that we have had the time to get to know each others families before we take off!
Christmas and Our Adventures
I know I probably say this every time...but I am horrible at updating our blog! My goodness, I promise I will TRY to do better. (I blame it on the newly-wed bubble). Anyways thinking back I realized that Scott and I have been up to a lot lately and things are starting to get crazy now that we are beginning to prepare for Hawaii.
Just before Christmas Scott and I visited Banff. I haven't been since I was a kid! It was so fun to spend the weekend exploring all the shops and restaurants. We both enjoyed showing each other places we had visited as kids and discovering new places together. Guess what!!! They now have a beavertail shop in Banff!!! I had a beavertail once while visiting Ottawa in High School and have wanted to have another ever since. So delicious...
.

This was Scotts first beavertail... I think he enjoyed it.

Our next adventure was in December. We went to Victoria to visit my family! We went at a bit of a hectic time for my Mom, but we really wanted to visit them before Christmas. While we were there my Mom was in charge of putting on the ward Christmas party. It turned out fabulously of course. I don't think I have ever been to a ward Christmas party with such delicious food. Scott and I had fun helping set everything up. We cut up hundreds of pickles and set out even more olives. My hands smelt disgusting for days and were a bit of a sickly yellow colour. Yummy, I know. My favorite part of the visit was going to the local Christmas tree farm to pick out a Christmas tree for my parents house.

Of course after Bryson and Scott cut down the tree we had to decorate! It was great being able to show Scott all of the decorations I made as a kid.

The night before we left my parents took us all to see the Christmas lights at Butchart Garden. It was amazing! A wonderful way to end our visit.

When we returned home Scott and I picked up our very own Christmas tree. Our FIRST Christmas tree! :) Thanks to some decorations given to us by Mom and Dad Prince it wasn't even half bad!

We spent Christmas eve/day with Scotts family. It was a little weird spending Christmas with a different family than my own, but it turned out to be great! Here is most of us snacking on Christmas Eve.
I really enjoyed playing minute to win it on Christmas Eve. There are some pretty funny videos of the game on Facebook. It was also really nice to go see the Nativity that Scott's old stake puts on every year. They had live animals and the donkey really liked to sing...
For the weekend of New Years Eve Scott and I drove down to Great Falls to have a weekend alone together. After all of the Christmas craziness it was much needed. We shopped and discovered some really awesome places to eat. My favorites were Cafe Rio, Fuddruckers and Yogurt City. Yummy yummy.
For our latest adventure we returned to Victoria once more. Cindy and her family were there and it was so great to see everyone. Her boys are growing up so fast! We enjoyed hanging out, eating fabulous food (Mom made Scones!!! YUM), and exploring Victoria. Mom and Dad took us to this amazing Pasta restaurant! I know I will want to go back there on our next visit.

Marriage
Well Scott and I have been married for almost two months now...man how time flies. A year ago if you would have asked me when I thought I would get married, I most definitely would not have ever guessed that it would be so soon. I thought I would get married when I was about 25 or maybe never. I have told a lot of people lately that I still wouldn't be married if I hadn't met someone as amazing as Scott.
I can't even put into words how amazing my husband is. No matter what I do I can never get over how lucky I am. Scott has made my life so much better. When we first started dating I don't think I realized what I had and every day I am so thankful that I didn't give him up. I almost went on a mission. I don't think I will ever forget the night that I told Scott. Up to that point I don't think I was very serious about him. I didn't ever seriously date anyone so for me our relationship was new, fun and exciting. When I told Scott I wanted to serve a mission that was the first time I realized how serious he was about me, how much he loved me, and how he saw potential in our relationship for marriage. Although I didn't feel ready for marriage I felt like I should give our relationship a chance and try to view Scott as a potential husband. After that everything changed. Scott has everything I have ever wanted and more. He treats me like I am his most precious possession. Even when we are upset with each other I am still happier then I have been in years. Mainly because I know that nothing will ever remain unsettled between us and that we will always find a way to make each other happy. People say that the first year of marriage is the hardest. I have to disagree. Yes it is different, and maybe a little bit hard... but it doesn't have to be the hardest year of a marriage. I know everything isn't always going to be unicorns, rainbows and sunshine but with how our relationship is I am excited for the good and the bad times that we will experience together. I am so thankful for my amazing husband and I am so excited for what lies ahead for us.

Our Free Crappy Portrait
So a couple of weeks ago I was reading my pal Kendra's blog. One day she stumbled upon a website called freecrappyportraits.com where they do exactly what they say. They give people free crappy portraits. Haha. Anyways I thought Kendra's picture was pretty cool so I thought I would give it a try. All you do is send them a picture and information about yourself and anyone else you want in your picture. Then one of their many artists will draw a picture and email it back. Well I did this several weeks ago and totally forgot about it. Today I opened my email to find this...

The Big Day
So the big day has come and gone and we are beginning to recieve some of our pictures. They are all absolutely beautiful!!! We thought we would give you a sneak peak before we post them all on facebook.
The morning of the wedding we woke up to grey skies, rain and wind. We were worried that our pictures would not turn out very well, but to our surprise when we walked out of the Temple it was all blue skies and sunshine! We are so thankful for how well everything went that day! And we are especially thankful for everyone who helped out and joined us at the temple for our special day!
Here is our lovely wedding party! Everyone looked wonderful! :)

Scott and I are so so happy to have amazing and loving parents!!!

One of the things that made our day so special was that Grandpa Prince was able to seal us in the temple. It was an amazing experience that we will never forget!

My mom arranged for us to take a carriage ride from the temple to the family dinner at the Cobblestone Manor. The ride was beautiful and it was honestly really nice to get a break from all the cameras and people. Not that we don't love you...but it can be a little overwhelming being surrounded right after being sealed. Haha.

Lunch at the Cobblestone Manor was wonderful! So delicious and a beautiful restaurant! The perfect location for heart warming speeches.
