BYU! Woo Hoo!

Okay, so I have been in Utah long enough now that it is probably time for an update. So when I first moved out her in May Brandon and Tamsin were nice enough to let me live with them for over a month! I was able to find a job, get into BYU and get settled. Thanks guys you really helped me out and still are! :) So now I have moved out and am living on my own...okay so I live across the street from Bramsin...haha. But still its been so much fun! My roommates (Abby and Camille) and I have hit it off really well and are having a blast! Last week it was Abby's birthday so first we hiked the Y earlier on in the day, then we went 80's dancing in Salt Lake! We got a big group of people together and had so much fun!!! There is a Michael Jackson night next week...I might be there. Haha.
Sorry about the quality of some of these photos my roommate took them on her phone.

So I'm pretty sure that this summer is going to be awesome! I am already enjoying Utah so much and I can't wait for more adventures! :)

Sports hate me!

So I forgot that I told Bryson I would post pictures of my ankle when it got all nasty, and I haven't updated for a while so here it goes. So for the last month or so before I left Arizona I started playing sports a lot with some guys in my ward and it was SO FUN!!! I really miss it! This is what happened after playing soccer one night...

So above we have a pretty nastily bruised ankle with many, many popped blood vessels...umm yummy.

Next we have a swollen, bruised nasty.

This last photo was taken a week and a half after playing soccer. Yeah...
So even though I ended up getting bruised and beaten every week, I had such a fun time during my last couple of weeks in Arizona and I am hoping I can find friends that love sports just as much as I do.

Life is good

The last couple of weeks have been a blast and they totally make up for the boringness of first semester! Cindy is finally here while Scott is in Atlanta for rotations and I even got to visit Brandon and Tamsin during spring break! It has been great being able to visit so much family this semester! For spring break I went up to Utah and had a blast. We went skiing, Tamsin took me to a play, we got to play with an adorable puppy all weekend, we got to go to supper and celebrate Brandon's birthday, but the best part of the week was being with good company! :) Thanks again guys for inviting me to your home and for letting me use your southwest credit! I miss you guys already!
The last couple of weekends I have been heading out to Scottsdale to hang out with Cindy, Landon, Parker, Kit and Len. Kit and Len have been very kind letting me crash at their place, I appreciate it very much! It has been great because since Cindy is only here for a little while she has been really wanting to experience the city. I have done so many things that I have wanted to do, but haven't been able to. We have gone to the Zoo, discovered some Canadian restaurants in the area, gone to the library, hung out with Scott's sisters family, Kit, Len and Whitney have been kind enough to babysit every once in a while so that Cindy and I can have some real sister bonding time. The other day we were able to go to the temple to do baptisms for the dead at the Mesa Temple. It was wonderful, I have never been able to go into the temple with Cindy! It was a fantastic experience.
I haven't taken any pictures this month so you guys will have to check out Cindy and Brandon's blogs to see them. If Brandon ever puts up the pictures that is! :)
The only sour part of this month has been that I lost my phone. Okay it was only for a couple of days but I was still freaking out! When I went out to see Cindy this past weekend I forgot my phone charger and it died the first night that I was there. So I just turned it off and chucked it on the floor (big mistake). Late Sunday night I realized that I should  probably charge my phone, but I went through my bags it was no where to be found. I called Cindy (sorry again for waking you up by the way) and for the next couple of days she tore apart the house and her car looking for it. Last night I realized that I was not going to find it without a little help. This experience has just reminded me that prayers are answered! I got a call from Cindy this morning. When she woke up my phone was lying in the middle of the floor and neither of us have any idea how it got there. Thank you Mom and Dad for raising us in this gospel, it is such a blessing in my life. I don't know what I would do without it! I hope everyone is doing well and I can't wait to see the remainder of my family this summer! Have a good day! :)

This is how I roll...

Yay for St. Patrick's Day!!! I am so glad its finally here! I am a big fan of holidays and this is one of my favourites! My family and I have been celebrating and setting traps for Leprechauns for years, and this year I decided to start some traditions of my own. First me and my friends started out the holiday by watching The Luck of the Irish, you know the good ole Disney Channel Original Movie. (And by old I mean it was made in 2001) Then we continued the celebration by watching Darby O'Gill and the Little People. Who knew Disney made a St. Patrick's Day movie? Apparently it is the best Patties day movie, so says the internet. I can't really give any input because I feel asleep in the first 30 minutes. But from what I saw it was awesome, in a wow I can't believe I just watched that way. In between movies we set up our trap. I wish Cindy would not have uploaded her pictures before mine because now I feel pretty lame. Haha! Anyways here is my lame attempt at a trap. Of course I only used my shiniest pennies!

Yeah, I know its awesome... Anyways I played Leprechaun this year since this was my friends first attempt. What is with these crazy Americans?

As you can see they are not very skilled at the whole catching it idea...

And the best part of this day... eating only lucky charms, or is that the worst part? I'm pretty sure that I can already feel my vital organs shutting down...

Okay so I'm cheap and I bought the store brand equivalent... but hey the marshmallow magic mascot kind of looks like Ash from Pokemon. But still not as magically delicious as them Lucky Charms.
To end off my St. Patties Day Blog here is a note to self:
Don't jump on bed when there is an unstable tray of cupcakes... I'll be bleaching my clothes for weeks...

Happy St. Patrick's Day, and happy trapping! :)

I now remember why I hate volleyball...

So yesterday after going to the gym with Megan and Katie they convinced me to play beach volleyball with them. A whole bunch of people ended up coming over and playing with us and we played for 2 and half hours!!! I don't think I have ever played volleyball for that long and nor do I plan to do it EVER AGAIN!!! During the last game my arms seriously started to give out and I couldn't lower my arms past my waist or else I would be in excruciating pain! When I woke up this morning my wrists were swollen to the size of my fore arms (not even kidding) and I had bruises all over my hands and arms. So I took a freezing cold shower and it felt amazing! Haha! Anyways here is the photo proof of what happened, it doesn't look anywhere near how it feels. I always get random bruises when I don't even hurt myself, but when I am in pain no one ever believes me...I hate life. :)

Okay for Realz now :)

Okay I hope you all know that I am super sick today and I almost didn't update my blog. If it weren't for my love of Chippy there would be no update. :) Okay so first Christmas Break. It was fantastic. First it was off to Berkeley to help Cindy and her kids fly. Not going to lie, I almost passed out in that airport with all the crap that Cindy and I had to carry. I don't know how you do it all the time. I seriously almost dropped Parker on his head because my arm gave out...not cool. Anyways next stop Canada.

Christmas was amazing, and it was really great to see family and friends again. Cindy blogged a lot about Christmas in Canada so I will skip ahead to Hawaii. Cindy and Scott didn't come with us :( but we still had a blast with them in Canada.
So we headed off to Hawaii a coupled days after Christmas. We went Zip lining, golfing, played tennis, went to the beach, went boogie boarding and so much more. Thanks parents for an awesome trip! :)

Okay so watch carefully in this video...I would like to point out that this was only my second time boogie boarding and also that we were at big beach.

Yeah, thats pretty much how boogie boarding went.

These next two videos were taken at the airport. * Bryson and Stacey have no control or explanation of what happened in these next two videos as they had just landed from an over night flight and were hyper from too much starbucks. *

So after Hawaii I was supposed to go back to Arizona and live with my roomie for a week, but I convinced Mom and Dad to bring me back to Canada. Thanks again by the way. You guys helped me out of a sticky situation! :) So basically my Christmas break was FANTASTIC!!! I  can't believe I got a whole month off of school to have fun with the family. I already miss you guys! Here is one of the only photos I took after going back to Canada. Dad was nice enough to take me skiing on his day off! I forgot how much I love it!

So after a week back to school I was ready to see the family again. It just isn't the same without you guys! So me and Lisha decided that I should go to L.A. and visit her for the weekend. Thanks again for letting me hang out with you. On Saturday we went to the Getty Center, which I had never heard of, but it is amazing!!! Then on Sunday we went to Disneyland! I am loving Alicia's connections, we got in for FREE!!!!

Lisha and I at the Getty. It was beautiful!

Yeah, she's got skills.

Okay so not only can you get into Disneyland for free on your Birthday this year... but you can go inside the castle again! I almost had a heart attack when I found out! It is so cool! They have totally re-done it and it is amazing!
Okay this video is for mom...

And there you have it! My longest post to date! I hope all your hearts have been warmed a little by this...haha! :)

I'm finally updating my blog!!! YAY!

.......... Okay so I don't have time right now... but I know that Alicia stalks my blog and plus she was really bugging me about how I never update it. So here you go. Haha! I promise I will do a few posts tomorrow when I am done class. If I don't you have my permission to light Chippy on fire, feed him to a very angry poodle, then stomp on him repeatedly until you are satisfied, then ripe him apart with your bare hands and feed the pieces to baby ducks. Seriously...
